LocateLuxe Physicians.

“For the doctor who chose the hardest path.”

Residents, fellows, attendings, and locum tenens physicians — travel dimension built in.

Burnout reality

57% of primary care physicians report burnout — the highest recorded level on record.

The Reality

Physicians is not under-served by accident.

Physicians are the most credentialed professionals in medicine — and among the most burned out. Three years of residency. Eighty-hour weeks. Student loans the size of a mortgage. A career built on absorbing the worst moments of other people’s lives, and then going home to try to have a normal one.

The burnout story for physicians is not new, but it is worse than it has ever been measured. 57% of primary care physicians report burnout. Over half say they would not choose medicine again if they could start over. And yet physicians are among the last professionals in America to receive a lifestyle platform designed for the specific shape of their weeks — post-call mornings, attending rotations, the hour between rounds and dinner when you finally sit down.

The income is the stereotype. The reality underneath is more complicated. A resident at a major academic center in Manhattan earns roughly $75,000 a year while carrying $280,000 in federal loans. An attending in their mid-thirties earns three times that, and owes four times as much. Financial tools built for ‘high earners’ miss the nuance completely. LocateLuxe is building for the real picture.

The locum tenens market is the other half of the story. Travel physicians — gig economy for medicine — are growing twice as fast as the permanent physician market. They face the same multi-state licensing maze, the same housing stipend math, the same assignment transitions as travel nurses. Zaha already understands those patterns from the nursing platform. The infrastructure is ready.

What We’re Building

LocateLuxe Physicians — the specifics.

LocateLuxe Physicians will launch with Zaha already fluent in call schedules, post-call curation, and the difference between an intern’s Tuesday and an attending’s Tuesday. Every member profile captures training level, specialty, and whether the member is permanent, locum, or transitioning.

The provider network will be physician-specific from day one — loan repayment specialists, disability insurance advisors who know own-occupation language, CPAs who understand K-1 distributions from private-practice groups, housing coordinators near every major residency program. The editorial After Rounds newsletter is being written now: residency-to-attending transitions, contract negotiation for first attending jobs, a financial curriculum that reflects the actual debt curve of a physician career.

Medical school and residency program outreach begins in Q3 2026. The Physicians vertical launches when the provider directory hits 50 vetted specialists and the editorial engine has three months of After Rounds in the archive. Waitlist members get founding pricing and first access.
